How long do I keep using my antibiotic?

I had an infected scrape on my hand. The doctor prescribed me mupirocin ointment, usp. She didn't say how long to use it for. It also does not say on the box. I know I should just call and ask but it's a pain in the *** to get ahold of any one on the phone. I have been using it since Saturday and it is no longer infected. looks to be healing quite well, just wondering if any one can give me any ideas how long to keep using the ointment.
